Sessions ::
Proximity Sessions is an Auckland, New
Zealand based film production company. Proximity Sessions founding
initiative is to bring together a combined 10 years Fine Arts
and Film background into commercial practice, to create new
ideas, to think outside of conventional means, to use concept,
research and technical innovation and to apply our unique brand
to the television commercials and music videos they produce.
the challenge
::
Proximity Sessions wanted a Flash website to promote and market
their film production company by showcasing their diverse portfolio
online.
interactive solution
::
TMC Visionpool creative directors and designers worked with
Proximity Sessions using our virtual studio space. This enabled
us to message, chat and exchange content and ideas for Proximity
Sessions' new website. We studied their existing website and
branding then drafted a few concepts. After presenting one mockup
we were given sign-off to build their new site. Proximity Sessions
provided us with their text, visual content and rich media in
mere minutes using high speed ADSL connections.
TMC Visionpool's virtual studio method bridged the distance
from Canada to New Zealand. Our designers blazed through several
website revisions, receiving sign-off from Proximity Sessions
at each stage. Once the lads were sure that all details were
considered and correct we launched the new website. We feel
our work showcases the talents of this New Zealand production
house.
the result ::
The textured, muted grey look & feel provides a neutral
backdrop for Proximity Sessions' client portfolio to standout
and become the focus of the viewers attention. Navigation is
intuitive and QuickTime content is easy to find. Proximity Sessions
have enjoyed a higher profile in this competitive Proximity
Sessions. |
